    A few common questions

Yes. Every session, every time. The teaching was given to us freely, and we pass it on the same way.
No. The practice is spiritual, not religious. There are no doctrines to accept and no group to join. If you already have a spiritual path, you do not need to give it up — you can add this to what you are already doing.
No. There is no membership, no sign-up form for the organization itself, no levels to graduate through. Sign up on Meetup or subscribe to our email newsletter if you would like reminders. Otherwise, just show up.
Yes. Kirtan is a live, communal practice. You are not pressing play — you are in a room with other people, doing the same thing at the same time. Most students who switch over say it is not comparable.
Just listen, if that is what feels right. Many students spend their first few sessions purely listening. You can sing along when, and if, you want to.
